Chota Leader ("we", "us", or "our") is a Progressive Web Application (PWA) designed for Islamic character building for children, operated by 7A Digital Solution in collaboration with Madarsa Tarbiyatul Atfal, Surat, Gujarat, India.

We are committed to protecting the privacy of our users, especially children. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information.

2. Information We Collect

We collect minimal information necessary to provide the service:

Account Information: If you choose to log in via Google, we receive your name and email address from Google's authentication service.
Progress Data: Chapter completion status, activity progress, and daily streaks — stored locally on your device and optionally synced to our server if you log in.
Onboarding Preferences: Child's age range and parent name — stored locally on your device.
Analytics: Anonymous usage data via Google Analytics (page views, feature engagement) — no personally identifiable information is linked.
Push Notifications: If you enable notifications, your browser's push subscription endpoint is stored on our server.

3. Children's Privacy

🛡️ Chota Leader is designed to be used by parents WITH their children. We do not collect any information directly from children. All data is collected from and controlled by the parent/guardian.

We do not:

Collect children's personal information
Allow children to create accounts
Display targeted advertising to children
Share children's data with third parties

4. How We Use Your Information

To save and sync your tarbiyat progress across devices
To send daily Murabbi reminder notifications (if enabled)
To improve the app experience through anonymous analytics
To display your name in your profile within the app

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in the following ways:

Locally: Progress data is stored in your browser's localStorage. This stays on your device.
Server: If logged in, progress is synced to our secure server hosted on shared hosting with HTTPS encryption.
Google Login: We use Google OAuth 2.0 for authentication. We never see or store your Google password.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

Google Analytics (GA4): For anonymous usage analytics. Google Privacy Policy
Google Sign-In: For optional account creation. Google Privacy Policy
Meta Pixel: For measuring ad campaign effectiveness. Meta Privacy Policy

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Delete your data: Clear your browser data to remove all local progress. Contact us to delete server-side data.
Opt out of notifications: Disable push notifications through your browser settings.
Opt out of analytics: Use browser extensions to block Google Analytics.
Log out: Remove your Google account association at any time through the app.

8. No Advertising to Children

🚫 Chota Leader does NOT display any advertisements within the app experience. Meta Pixel is used only to measure campaign effectiveness for parent-targeted ads. No ads are shown to children.

9. Data Retention

We retain your data only as long as your account is active. Local data persists until you clear your browser storage. Server-side data can be deleted upon request.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
